An early Donald Brooks Boutique piece is the absolute epitome of the 1960s flower power, hippie chic movement. Any of the bog name super models would have easily graced the pages of Vogue in this two piece set. The skirt is maxi length and wraps to close. The fabric is an amazing coral and multi color cotton mix with a seersucker texture striping running through it to give added dimension. The top is structured and cropped - its made to fit to perfection and show off a taut, tanned stomach. A slight scooped neckline and log sleeves with a bit of fullness offer the perfect balance. Of course its the edging of embroidered multi colored flowers that absolutely make this outfit! They adorn the waistline of the skirt, the edging of that sexy top and the cuffs and neck! I love it! Amazing concept & a definitive look of the sixties and a beautiful piece in excellent condition

Both the top and skirt are unlined. The top closes with a back painted metal zipper & hook and eye at the neck, while the skirt wraps to closes with snaps and hook & eye. You can prob move the fastenings in the skirt to get another inch or two if needed. The zipper on the bodice piece sticks just a touch at its start but otherwise works fine and is original so has been left.
